We spoke briefly in the showroom recently, but I want to put in writing some observations about your two deliverymen and how they reflected on City Mattress.

I waited for the gatekeeper at Andros Isle to call when your truck arrived, but ten minutes before the two-to-four window of delivery time, I heard the sound of a truck outside - and my doorbell rang. Luckily I had almost finished my preparations for the new mattress.

I opened the door to a tall, smiling fellow - clean-cut, neatly attired - and I said, "Young man, I was waiting for the gate to call - How did you get in?"

He grinned and parried, "Oh, we were in the neighborhood - delivering to your neighbor down the street." He clearly had a good sense of humor and sharp people skills! I laughed and let him in, showing him the route to my Select Comfort sleep number bed already partially moved off its platform. I asked if it could go out to the garage, by way of the front door, with its hose and compressor still attached... I had the latter bagged and lashed in place. He and his partner carried it all out, with me minding the door so the 2 cats wouldn’t escape. It was a one-two-three maneuver, executed with precision and cheerfulness.

With me holding the door, they brought in the PranaSleep Vinyasa mattress - slowly, carefully negotiating the path past two antique curved-glass china cabinets and through an angled doorway to the bedroom. The mattress was unwrapped and precisely placed on the platform (the only good thing about air beds!) and my questions were answered clearly and knowledgeably. I was given the paperwork and asked to sign the delivery receipt.

The men clearly enjoyed their work and took pride in doing it well - without wasting a minute, but also without rushing. I don’t know their names, but surely you’ll know which team they are. I gave them a tip and my compliments; give them another good word from me. They were tops!

In closing, let me say your beautiful showroom, your saleswoman Kathy Johnson, your delivery team and your distinctive trucks, too - and your commercials on TV - all present a uniformity of excellence. I’ve already recommended a friend to City Mattress and will continue to advertise for you in the future. Thanks for your contribution to the vast improvement in my quality of sleep!
