Junior Front-End Developer

You will work closely with our lead developer to maintain, update and expand our various web properties following best practices, using guidelines provided by City mattress engineering lead.

Requirements

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to development of new pages, features, and updates for our various e-commerce properties
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting
• Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future (DRY)
• Keep up to date with technological changes & best practices
• Focus on code efficiency, security and accessibility

Required Experience/Skills:
• Understanding of modern proper web development practices
• Experience with Shopify and the Shopify ecosystem and the use of liquid templating language
• Familiarity with front-end languages ie: HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Attention to details
• Ability to work with GIT version control
• Team player attitude with good communication skills

Preferred Experience/Skills

Hotel Sales Manager

As the hotel sales account manager, you will procure new hotel accounts and develop existing accounts, implementing revenue and market share strategies and achieving sales goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business strategy to increase hotel/hospitality sales
  • Collaborate with business development team to enhance hospitality sales revenue
  • Drive Results by establishing sales objectives through forecasting and developing quotas for all team members.
  • Maximize revenue opportunity for assigned customers by creating effective strategies for revenue growth, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Assist with preparing and delivering compelling presentations
  • Attend site visits and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the sales process
  • Effectively collaborate with vendors and other internal departments/divisions of the company optimize the B2B customer experience
  • Weekly travel to conduct outside sales calls and promote our brand
  • Develop and improve hotel sales performance year-over-year
  • Maintain relationships with National and Key Accounts to increase customer base
  • Meet and exceed proactive sales activity goals.
  • Prepare Weekly Sales Activity reports and quarterly Action Plans.
  • Attend local and community networking events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership in sales, director level preferred
  • 3 + years of hospitality sales or procurement experience required
  • BS/BA degree in business, communications, or similar preferred
  • Knowledge of sales process required in addition to the ability to read and decipher financial reports and records
  • Technical aptitude, computer proficiency and CRM knowledge required
  • CAD knowledge preferred
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Any other duties as assigned

Retail Design Project Manager

As the Retail Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for the visual image and functionality of all company facilities with emphasis on retail store design and bringing the design to reality. Preferred skills include creativity, great communication skills, growth mindset, prepared to stretch conventional thinking, while being conscious of a budget and keeping the customer experience front and center. This position reports to the Director of Facilities.

  • Maintain and improve upon existing corporate prototype design
  • Design/develop/manage a project from inception through completion.
  • Research materials needed for projects to aid Facilities Techs in completing tasks
  • Meet with Developers/Contractors/Vendors in office and onsite to view new locations, review construction drawings and provide direction to achieve the project objective.
  • Develop modifications for new and existing sites (i.e. green design, handicap accessibility, offices, sales counters…etc) to create a more user friendly environment while keeping the customer experience in mind.
  • Attend bi weekly corporate meetings to provide design input as well as updates on the existing projects.
  • Obtain all needed information to aid in long term project development, electronic input of all locations from original drawings, generating all forms used in the Department for intranet site.
  • Provide weekly project progress reports to the executive and leadership team
  • Project, maintain, meet and follow through on project requirements & timely completion of projects
  • Establish and maintain color pallets for new and existing facilities
  • Provide direction to sign manufacturers, vendors, etc.
  • Be proactive in finding creative and cost effective solutions to the corporate design requirements.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years + of experience in corporate retail design experience
  • ASID or AIA designation preferred
  • Experience in new concept design, color selection/coordination, and space planning
  • Experience in working with Architects, General Contractors, and Vendors to develop a cohesive corporate design strategy
  • Proficient in AutoCAD & Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work with a team or independently based upon the requirements.
  • Travel on an as needed basis.

Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Director of Creative and Advertising on a variety marketing campaigns

A qualified candidate will be responsible for conceptualization and design of creative deliverables such as collateral material, website design, environmental graphics, corporate identity, and multimedia interfaces, from concept to completion.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
• Work directly with the design team on brainstorming, developing, and executing design work for the organization. These include but are not limited to our websites, marketing materials, logos, signage, installations, promotional items, advertisements, brochures, flyers, etc.
• Effectively coordinate with the Director of Creative and Advertising to ensure design projects communicate the desired message quickly and efficiently.
• Take responsibility of the creative process for each project you are assigned, including inter-departmental communication, problem solving and the understanding of business initiatives.
• Provide creative input, ideas and concepts for the overall marketing and brand development of the organization.
• Embrace and demonstrate the collaborative efforts of the creative department.
• Identify fresh and emerging design opportunities to promote the look and feel of the brands.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional experience in Graphic Design, within an agency or in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Graphic Design or closely related discipline.
• Extensive knowledge in current design practices, techniques, print production, and signage design
• Fluency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as knowledge of printing and production methods.
• Experience with HTML5, Sprites, JavaScript, CSS, and multi-media design.
• Consistently display initiative to complete projects and tasks with limited supervision.
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with Project Managers regarding design projects, progress, and deadlines.
• Always maintain a professional attitude and be receptive to project changes.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of across functional team.
• Must understand the role graphic design plays in the marketing and sales process.
